The following reminders aim to help everyone during this situation when national and local restrictions are being tightened for everyone’s safety. Please read this carefully and make sure you adhere to this.
This information can not attempt to cover all guidance from The FA, Northumberland FA, the leagues, local council and the government. Everyone has a responsibility to make sure they are also familiar with that information and follow all guidance. For FA Guidance check HERE.
Everyone is very welcome at Wideopen Football Club. By sharing these reminders we hope we strengthen the likelihood of keeping everyone safe, keeping football going and keeping our club open.
- If your child or anyone in your household has recognised Covid-19 symptoms or has been in contact with anyone who has tested positive with Covid-19 you should stay at home and under no circumstances travel to the ground. Please inform your coach and follow the national guidelines relating to track and trace. Further guidance HERE.
- Everyone attending games and training sessions must sign in using the paper Test and Trace sheets which coaches have or use the Form below. You are also asked to register using the NHS QR Code system posted around the 3G fencing.
- Only one parent / guardian per player. This also means no siblings should be brought to games or training sessions.
- There should be no social gatherings. All parents / guardians should follow the social distancing guidelines and remain 2m from anyone from another household.
- All coaches to adhere to the latest FA and national guidance when planning and delivering their sessions.
- Our clubhouse remains closed.
- Everyone attending is reminded they should regularly sanitise their hands. As a minimum this should be prior to games / training sessions and at the end when leaving. Please bring your own sanitiser although coaches will have this available for players.
- Anyone over the age of 11 should wear a face covering, in line with national guidelines.
- Please advise parents to only arrive for the time specified (15 minutes prior to games). If they arrive early please ask all members of the family to remain in their vehicles until the specified time.
- Coaches should ensure the site is cleared promptly after any training sessions or games. We all need to try and minimise the numbers of people using the facility at any one time.
- If coaches need to speak to parents or need to de-brief their sessions, please do so away from the ground
- If you have any issues or notice anything you don’t feel is right, please raise this with the member of the Wideopen FC Staff.
- All coaches will have their own first aid kit with them while games / training sessions are taking place.
- Coaches should ensure equipment is cleansed before and after use.
- Footballs should be cleansed before, at half-time and after games / training sessions. A cleansed ball should be available to put into play whenever the ball comes out of play. The ‘out-coming’ ball should then be cleansed ready for the next time.
Please also see the club's Risk Assessment for additional information and guidance.
Thanks for your cooperation.
